The Washington Camera Club of Washington County, Pennsylvania was founded in 1939. The club formed for the purpose of advancing the knowledge and enjoyment of the art of photography for its members.
From the days of developing photos from film to using digital cameras with instant photo viewing, our camera club has experienced it all and has grown with new technologies.
The Washington Camera Club is geared for the beginner photographer to the most serious, dedicated, even professional, photographer. We welcome everyone at any level with any type of equipment who wants to learn more and share experiences with other photographers. All camera types are welcome including smartphones, point-and-shoot cameras, DSLRs, mirrorlless cameras, etc.
The Mission of the Washington Camera Club is to form an association for the mutual enjoyment of photography, to encourage the advancement of its members and the community in knowledge and practices of the science and art of photography, and to serve the community with instructional, entertaining and informational photographic programs.
The Washington Camera Club Vision is to aid members in appreciating the art of photography and to help them become artists in the field of photography.
